On New Hill in Farnsfield, China Palace has been quietly feeding the village six nights a week since 2020 — wok-fired classics, roast meats, and the steady weeknight ritual of a proper British-Chinese kitchen.
There is no online ordering, no app, no delivery. Pick up the phone, walk down at the appointed hour, and a brown-paper bag will be waiting on the counter with your name in pencil on the corner.
Choose a sauce, choose a protein. Each one fired fresh in the wok with peppers, mushroom, onion or bamboo as the sauce calls for.
Served with chips. For when the village wants something quieter.
Most of our dishes contain garlic, soya, gluten, cooking wine and sesame oil.
